In order to minimize everyone’s exposure to the coronavirus COVID-19, Millstone Township will no longer be accepting cash payments. All payments must be made either online, check or money order. We thank you for your cooperation. (Ordinance 21-06)

There is a drop box located in the front entrance of the Municipal Building located at 470 Stage Coach Road for the drop off of payments after hours. The drop box is checked at 8:30 am each business day morning. Tax payments left in the drop box after 4:00 pm will be processed the following business day.
If you choose to pay your taxes online, please allow time for processing. Notification of the online payment must be received by the tax office by 4:15 pm by the 10th of each tax quarter to avoid interest penalty.

DROP BOX
The Municipal Building located at 470 Stagecoach Road now has a "Drop Box" for the convenience of the residents to use after hours. Any tax payments or recreation registrations will be posted on the next business day. The "Drop Box" is located on the front door.
Tax Information
Taxes are due February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st. Regular tax bills are mailed during the month of July each year. If you do not receive your tax bill by August 1st, it is your responsibility to contact the tax office and request to have your bill resent. Added Assessment and Roll Back bills are sent out in October of each year. These bills are in addition to your regular tax bill and are due by November 1st. There is a 10 day grace period for tax payments. If the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday, the grace period extends to the next business day. If taxes are not paid by close of business on the final day of the grace period, interest will be charged back to the original due date. Tax payments may be submitted through the mail, placed in the drop box located in the front door of the municipal building at 470 Stage Coach Road or paid online through the Township’s website: www.millstonenj.gov.

Change of Mortgage Information
Please notify the tax collector’s office if your mortgage information changes. It is your responsibility to check when your next payment is due when you have satisfied your mortgage. The “Advice Copy” of your tax bill is an exact copy of the original and can be used to submit payment.
Property Tax Relief Programs
Senior Citizen and Veteran deductions are available to qualifying applicants. Deductions are in the amount of $250.00. If you think you may qualify please call the tax collector’s office.
